Passion for design motivates Jessie to create and developed her own handmade products; rugs and pillows since 2003. Considers as art and inspired by colors and tastes of her native country, dedicating her life to being part of Peru's cultural diversity, the results are Jessie D'Angelo handmade presented in Jessie D'Angelo Studio Inc. Jessie D'Angelo products has a relationship between vibrant colors, bold designs and the lives and hands of those who weaves them.
To make a long story short... Prior to striking out on her own, growing up in an environment filled with modern art and design of all kinds, designing has always been an important part of her life a skilled and experiences Graphic Designer with a degree in Interior Design, Jessie D'Angelo is a peruvian creative visionary. Jessie spent more than 10 years working in the Furniture business and then in the Graphic business; Senior Designer at Artin Ltda. - Santiago de Chile, Herman Miller – Lima/Peru, and a Graphic Designer in Ica-Peru. The millennium brought her a lot of changes and moved to the United States to worked at SCIC kitchens - at the Miami Design District. Jessie prides herself on toggling between old and new art forms – from hand drawing designs to mastering the latest graphic arts software. She believes; mixing the modern art with classic collections is the perfect "recipe". Jessie D’Angelo with more than 19 years of experience brings her time and passion for design to her Miami based-studio motivated to create and developed products and services with art. Recently attended MDCC for Website Development, pursuing graphic and web design and has incorporate her abilities into the Studio. When she’s not at her studio, Jessie delights in being wife and mom to her ninth grader daughter and 3-year-old son. Plus during this last 7 years, it’s all about design, which that feed into her passion and she takes care of all custom orders as she enjoys helping a client who may have a special request.
